Hello everyone, I’m Alan, the founder of Omnichat. As we close another remarkable year, I am delighted to share the incredible journey and milestones we have achieved in 2023. This year has been pivotal in our evolution, demonstrating our commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and global expansion.
This year has been phenomenal for Omnichat in terms of growth. We have seen our revenue grow by 2.2x, a clear indicator of our increasing influence in the market and the trust that our clients have placed in us. Our message volume reached an unprecedented 1 billion, with a 5x growth, illustrating the vital role we play in facilitating communication between businesses and their customers. In terms of Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV), we helped our clients generate an impressive 1.2 billion, doubling their growth compared to the previous year. Notably, our clients experienced a conversion rate that was 5 times better than the average eCommerce platform, highlighting the effectiveness and influence of our solutions.
Our expansion in 2023 has been nothing short of extraordinary. Omnichat’s presence now spans across Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand, with plans to venture into more territories in 2024. The accolades we received this year, including the Asia eCommerce Awards, MARKies Awards, Digital Singularity Awards, Smart Retail Tech Award, and Watsons HWB Digital Strategy Partner Award, are testaments to our relentless pursuit of excellence. Our team has grown to over 100 dedicated professionals, a reflection of our commitment to scaling our capabilities and services. Moreover, we now proudly serve over 1000 key clients across the APAC region, a significant milestone in our journey towards becoming a leader in chat commerce.
Innovation has always been at the heart of Omnichat, and 2023 was no exception. We introduced the Social CDP & Customer Journey Marketing Automation, which leverages first-party data to map various social identities and deliver an automated customer journey. This year, we also launched WhatsApp Social Commerce with Payment & Catalog features, significantly boosting orders and revenue through one of the world’s most popular messaging platforms. Our collaboration with ChatGPT led to the development of Omni AI, a digital assistant for content generation and product recommendations, enhancing user engagement and satisfaction. Additionally, our expanded partnership and API system integration capabilities with all major CRM and eCommerce platforms have streamlined operations and enhanced the customer experience.
As we look towards 2024, I am filled with anticipation and excitement for the upcoming phase of hyper-growth and global expansion. The journey thus far has been incredibly fulfilling, and we are poised to reach even greater heights.
